The Base is a robust hybrid cannabis strain, resulting from the cross between Nigerian Yoruba and 49ers Afghani.
Substantial yields thanks to its resilient genetics and ability to produce big, chunky flowers even under stress. The structure is powerful and aggressive, with thick stems, huge leaves, and a strong root system that contributes to its overall resilience, making it forgiving for growers and tolerant of drought, minor overwatering, and some pest pressures like powdery mildew.
Appearance is impressive, with branches loaded from top to bottom in dense, bract-heavy buds that exhibit a classic kush-like compactness, potentially showcasing earthy green tones with hints of darker shades from its Afghani heritage, and a generous coating of resin for a sticky, appealing look.
The aroma evolves distinctly: in vegetative growth, it delivers a classic old-school dank gas scent; during bloom, it shifts to a smoother, kush-forward profile; and after curing, it becomes incredibly creamy kush with soft notes of coffee and earth, blending tropical influences from the Nigerian side with the deep, resinous earthiness of Afghani.
