Grow Type: Indoor, Greenhouse or Outdoor Polar Silk is an indica-dominant F1 that joins Landrace Bureau’s Polar Blue Alaska line with the Tashqurghan Afghan landrace. Polar Blue brings northern vigor through Skywalker OG (Skywalker × OG Kush) and Alaskan Thunder Fuck (Northern Cali Sativa × Russian × Afghani).
Tashqurghan contributes the old Silk Road resin line: a 100% indica hash cultivar selected for dense, sieved-resin production.
Expect a fast 8–9 week finish with compact, resin-heavy flowers. The Tashqurghan side is known for intense black currant, berry, fruit, and menthol aromas that transfer into the sieved resin. Polar Blue adds gas, kush, and northern fruit/menthol lift. Together the profile should read as black currant, berry, fruit, menthol, and old-world hash over a kushy Polar Blue backbone.
Tashqurghan, modernly known as Kholm, is an ancient town in northern Afghanistan, east of Mazar-i-Sharif and north of the Hindu Kush. On the fertile Khulm river delta, it was a Silk Road emporium. Farmers there are renowned for charas and hash. The Tashqurghan cultivar expresses intense black currant, berry, fruit, and menthol that carry into the resin. Dating back to 1300 AD, Tashqurghan was used in funeral rites and ceremonies to communicate with the deceased.
